Full casting has been announced for the Keen Company’s production of Robert Anderson’s Tea and Sympathy, March 6-April 14 at the Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row. The production, to be directed by Jonathan Silverstein, will open officially on March 15.

Joining previously announced stars Heidi Ambruster and Dan McCabe will be Dan Cordle, Randy Danson, Brandon Espinoza, Ben Hollandsworth, Jake Levy, Craig Mathers, Cal Robertson, and Mark Setlock.

First produced on 1953, with Deborah Kerr and John Kerr (who were not related) in the leads, the play concerns a lonely and misunderstood 17-year-old, presumed to be gay by his teachers and classmates, who finds unexpected kindness from the wife of his chief accuser. Both Kerrs recreated their roles for the 1956 film version, directed by Vincente Minnelli.
