Full cast and creative team have been announced for Trinity Repertory Theatre’s production of Lorraine Hansberry’s classic drama A Raisin in the Sun, to run January 30-March 8. The production, which will open officially on February 4, will be directed by Brian McEleney.
The cast will feature Barbara Meek, Joe Wilson Jr., Mauro Hantman, Johnny Lee Davenport, Charlie Hudson III, Lynnette Freeman, Angela K. Thomas, Jude Sandy, Will Shaw, Dustin Isom, and Nigel Richards.
The production team includes by Michael McGarty (sets), William Lane (costumes), Peter Sasha Hurowitz (lighting), and John Ambrosone (sound). McEleney’s credits include The Dreams of Antigone, All the King’s Men, Our Town, Hamlet, Stones in His Pockets, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Dinner with Friends, Master Class, Proof, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, and A Christmas Carol.
