Flashback Friday: Olivier-Nominated Stars of The King and I Found Success at the Tony Awards

London is giving Kelli O’Hara, Ken Watanabe, and Ruthie Ann Miles a little déjà vu.

London's Olivier Award nominations came out earlier this week, and all of us west of the Atlantic were delighted to see a host of familiar names on the list. Chief among them are the stars of Lincoln Center Theater's 2015 Tony-winning revival of The King and I.

Kelli O'Hara (who won a Tony in 2015 for her performance as Anna Leonowens and is back on Broadway in Kiss Me, Kate), Ken Watanabe (Tony-nominated for his performance as the King of Siam), and Ruthie Ann Miles (Tony winner for her featured role as Lady Thiang) are all up for awards again for the musical's West End mounting at the London Palladium.

We won't know the verdict until April 7 when London holds its 2019 Olivier Awards ceremony, but until then, revive your memory of this magical production with O'Hara's, Watanabe's, and Miles's stunning Tony-night performances.
