We recently learned that Warner Bros. has a remake of the iconic movie-musical Little Shop of Horrors in the works, penned by Matthew Robinson and directed by Greg Berlanti. The news got us reminiscing about the musical's first reimagining, from cult-classic film to off-off-Broadway (then off-Broadway, then touring) musical.

Our nostalgia that production is perfectly captured by this 1983 ad for the tour's Westwood Playhouse stop. Who could deny that this production, still starring the iconic Ellen Greene, must have been "a nifty laugh riot."
