The Off-Broadway production of Luigi Creatore’s Flamingo Court, currently at the New World Stages for its second season, will now close on July 19 instead of the previously announced September 6. At that time, it will have played 9 previews and 38 regular performances.
The play — which made its New York premiere at New World Stages last year in a production that starred Jamie Farr and Anita Gillette — is comprised of three one act plays featuring the loopy and endearing residents of a South Florida apartment complex.
The production is directed by Steven Yuhasz, and the cast currently features Alex Bond, Diane J. Findlay, Tim Jerome, Lucy Martin, Herbert Rubens, and Gordon Stanley. The creative team includes Steven Capone (set), Herrick Goldman (lighting), Carol Sherry (costumes), and David Arnold (sound).
