Musical Theatre Guild will present a one-night-only production of William Finn and James Lapine’s A New Brain Monday, April 16 at the Alex Theater.
Todd Nielsen will direct and choreograph the semi-autobiographical musical about a composer dealing with life and death as he’s about to undergo brain surgery.
The company will feature Eydie Alyson, Stuart Ambrose, Eileen Barnett, Jill Marie Burke, Melissa Fahn, Joshua Finkel, David Holmes, Erik McEwen, Kevin McMahon and Michael A. Shepperd.
The creative team includes Gerald Sternbach (musical direction) and A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (costume designer).
