Baltimore Center Stage (BSC) will present trinity, the playwriting debut of Emmy Award–winning writer and producer Lena Waithe, in association with Hillman Grad.

Directed by BCS artistic director Stevie Walker-Webb, the play runs February 12-March 8, with opening night scheduled for February 21.

Waithe also makes her theatrical acting debut in the production, alongside Courtney Sauls and Megalyn Echikunwoke.

In trinity, three people slip between fantasy and reality in a single room, acting out the moments they’re too afraid to live in real life. What begins as playful role-play becomes a raw excavation of longing, connection, and the emotional legacies passed between mothers, friends, and lovers.
