Dee Roscioli is set to rejoin the touring cast of Wicked in the role of Elphaba, beginning September 25 in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center in Las Vegas.
She will be joining a cast that also features Justin Brill (Boq), Clifton Davis (Dr. Dillamond), Cliffton Hall (Fiyero), and Demaree Hill (Nessarose) as well as Carla Stickler, Lauren Boyd, Antonette Cohen, Rick Desloge, Luis Augusto Figueroa, Timothy A. Fitz-Gerald, Napoleon W. Gladney, Brenda Hamilton, Courtney Iventosch, Spencer Jones, Trevor Ryan Krahl, Renee Lawless-Orsini, Philip Dean Lightstone, Marissa Lupp, Michael Mahany, Kevin McMahon, Ashley Dawn Mortensen, Cassie Okenka, Christopher Russo, Adea Michelle Sessoms, Sara h Schenkkan, Pamela Shandrow, Ben Susak, Shanna VanDerwerker, and Mikey Winslow.
Riscioli, who holds the distinction of having played Elphaba in more performances than any other actress, has also played the role on Broadway and in a record-breaking Chicago production in addition to the tour.
With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman, Wicked is based on the 1995 best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire, and tells the untold story of the witches of Oz.
