David Hyde Pierce and Danielle Brooks to Star in Encores! You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

New York City Center has announced initial casting for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, running February 3–14, as part of next year’s Encores! series.

Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce will play Charlie Brown, alongside Oscar and Tony Award nominee Danielle Brooks as Lucy, Emmy Award winner Ayo Edebiri as Snoopy, and Jin Ha as Linus. Edebiri and Ha recently appeared together in the Broadway revival of Proof. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton (Oh, Mary!) directs this revival of the musical based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, featuring music, lyrics, and book by Clark Gesner. The production includes choreography by Sunny Min-Sook Hitt and music direction by Meghann Zervoulis Bate.

Tickets go on sale to members on October 7, and the general public October 14.
