Hallelujah, Baby! is also on tap at New York City Center.

New York City Center’s 2026-27 season of programming has been announced.
The 2027 Encores! series opens February 3–14 with Clark Gesner’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, staged by Tony winner Sam Pinkleton (The Rocky Horror Show) and using the musical’s original orchestrations (accordingly, it will not, at this point, include the 1999 revisions by Andrew Lippa and Michael Mayer).
Next up is Hallelujah, Baby! (March 17–28), the 1968 Tony-winning musical from Jule Styne, Arthur Laurents, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green, which traces a Black woman’s journey through a century of American life.
Closing out the season is John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally’s Tony-winning Kiss of the Spider Woman (April 28–May 9), directed and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton).
As previously announced, the New York City Center fall gala production is Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes’s In the Heights, directed by David Mendizábal, with choreography by Mayte Natalio and music direction by Alejandro Senior. Running three weeks (October 28-November 15, 2026), In the Heights will put 10,000 tickets on sale for $28 or less beginning on May 21.
