MCC Theater has announced the honorees and initial performers for this year’s Miscast, the annual one-night-only concert featuring Broadway actors performing songs from roles in which they would not traditionally be cast.
Miscast26 will honor Tony Award-winning producers Roy Furman and Jill Furman and MCC Youth Company alum and artist Jose Useche. It will be held on Monday, April 27, at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Miscast26 will feature performances from current Chess stars Nicholas Christopher and Lea Michele, Tony winner Darren Criss, Tony winner Jane Krakowski, Caissie Levy, Tony winner Ruthie Ann Miles, Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Emmy winner Tramell Tillman. More performers will be announced shortly. Will Van Dyke will serve as musical director.
