Broadway veteran Daniel Sunjata will join the cast of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy in a recurring role, according to Fancast.com.
He will first appear in the December 2 episode. His character will be a nurse, and also the love interest to Dr. Bailey (played by Chandra Wilson).
Sunjata starred in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Take Me Out, and also appeared on Broadway as Christian opposite Kevin Kline in the 2007 revival of Cyrano de Bergerac. He is well known for his role as Franco Rivera in the FX Network series, Rescue Me.
