Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate, starring Kelli O'Hara as Lilli Vanessi/Kate and Will Chase as Fred Graham/Petruchio.

Inspired by Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, Kiss Me, Kate features a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and music and lyrics by Porter. The show won the first-ever Tony Award for Best Musical in 1949 and features iconic musical theater tunes including "Too Darn Hot," "So in Love," and "Always True to You in My Fashion." In 2016, O'Hara and Chase also starred in a sold-out benefit concert reading of Kiss Me, Kate.

Joining O'Hara and Chase in the principal company are Corbin Bleu as Lucentio/Bill Calhoun, Stephanie Styles as Lois Lane/Bianca, Terence Archie as Harrison Howell, Mel Johnson Jr. as Harry Trevor/Baptista, Adrienne Walker as Hattie, Lance Coadie Williams as Gangster (Second Man), and John Pankow as Gangster (First Man).

The ensemble will be made up of Phillip Attmore, Darius Barnes, Preston Truman Boyd, Will Burton, Derrick Cobey, Jesmille Darbouze, Rick Faugno, Haley Fish, Marissa McGowan, Sarah Meahl, Christine Cornish Smith, Sherisse Springer, Sam Strasfeld, and Ron Todorowski.

Directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, the production's creative team will include David Rockwell (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Donald Holder (lighting), Brian Ronan (sound), David Brian Brown (hair and wig design), Larry Hochman (orchestrations), and David Chase (dance arrangements).

Tony nominee Amanda Green (Hands on a Hardbody) will join the creative team to contribute "additional material to the book to update the production for 2018," according to press notes.

The production will play Roundabout Theatre Company's Studio 54, with previews beginning February 14, 2019, and opening night set for March 14.
