Christina Ricci to Join Bebe Neuwirth in CSC’s Midsummer Night’s Dream

Christina Ricci will join the previously reported Bebe Neuwirth in Classic Stage Company’s production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Tony Speciale will direct the production, which will run March 28-May 6, 2012.

Ricci will be playing the role of Hermia, one of the comedy’s young lovers. The actress made her Broadway debut in Time Stands Still. Her many film credits include The Addams Family, The Opposite of Sex, The Ice Storm, and Sleepy Hollow, and she currently stars in ABC’s Pan Am.

Neuwirth will portray the fairy queen, Titania. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
