Broadway veteran Katie Holmes will co-star with Gossip Girl‘s Chace Crawford in the new romantic comedy film, Responsible Adults, according to published reports. John Poll will direct the film for Night & Day Pictures.
The project features a screenplay by Alex Schemmer, and is about a 30-year-old female med student (Holmes), who falls for a younger man (Crawford), for whom she was once baby sitter.
Holmes made her Broadway debut in All My Sons. Among her many film and television credits are Batman Begins, The Ice Storm, Dawson’s Creek, and the controversial miniseries The Kennedys.
