Cast Announced for Off-Broadway Musical Here I Am

Full casting has been announced for the off-Broadway run of Here I Am, a new musical with an original book and score by Christian Cantrell and Samantha Roberts. Here I Am will start preview performances at AMT on March 1, ahead of an official opening night on March 8.

Centered around social media, Here I Am is a story of forgiveness, belonging, hope, and societal pressures forced upon young women told through the story of Scarlett, who struggles to balance her growing addiction to social media with the real people in her life.

Roberts will direct, with Kimi Handa Brown as associate director. Vocal Arrangements are by Roberts, music supervision and orchestrations are by Cantrell, and lighting design is by Kent Sprague. Additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.

The cast will feature Samantha Roberts as Scarlett, Jack Baugh (The Office: A Musical Parody) as Spencer, Cedrick Ekra as Kyle, and SLee (Stranger Sings!) as Camryn. Joining them in the ensemble will be Melody Munitz, Rachel Madson, Laney Yoo, Jasmyn Johnson, Ebony Nixon, Christian Melhuish, T Anthony, and Nikolai Granados, with Brittany Lowery and Jake Thatcher as swings.
