Mendez received 2018 Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Carrie in the new Broadway revival of the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical. Her additional credits include Significant Other, Everyday Rapture, Godspell, Grease, Wicked, and Dogfight, among other shows.
