Carlo Alban and Amy Kim Waschke will star in the Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company production of Qui Nguyen’s Alice in Slasherland, to be presented at HERE Arts Center, March 18-April 10, with an opening on March 21. Robert Ross Parker will direct, with fight choreography by Nguyen.
In the play, Lewis Diaz (Alban) accidentally resurrects the soul of a brutally slain girl named Alice (Waschke), and unwittingly unleashes a literal hell on Earth. The cast will also include Sheldon Best (Edgar/Duncan), Tom Myers (Jacob/Tommy/Sheriff Dunwoody), Bonnie Sherman (Margaret), and Andrea Marie Smith (Tina).
The production will feature scenic and lighting design by Nick Francone, multi-media design by Matthew Tennie, costume design by Sarah Laux and Jessica Shay, puppet design by David Valentine, and sound design by Shane Rettig.
