Stage and screen star Carla Gugino will join Showtime’s Californication, according to a report on Deadline.com. She will join the series for its upcoming season 4.
Gugino will play a love interest for David Duchovny’s character, Hank Moody. In additional casting news, Addison Timlin will join the series, playing an actress starring in the film within the show.
Gugino starred on Broadway last season in Desire Under the Elms, and her other theater credits include the Broadway revival of After the Fall and the Off-Broadway production of Suddenly Last Summer. Her film credits include Watchmen, Race to Witch Mountain, and the forthcoming Sucker Punch and Faster.
