Theatre World Award winner Carla Gugino will have a recurring role on the third season of FX’s drama Justified, according to published reports.
She will reportedly play Karen Goodall, a Washington D.C.-based assistant director of the U.S. Marshals Service who heads to Kentucky to assist in protecting a group of possibly compromised witnesses.
Gugino will return to Broadway later this season in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Athol Fugard’s The Road to Mecca. Her stage credits include Desire Under the Elms, After the Fall, and Suddenly Last Summer.
Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Watchmen, Race to Witch Mountain, Faster, and Sucker Punch. She previously starred on the TV series Karen Sisco, Californication, and Entourage.
Justified stars Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy, and Joelle Carter.
