Television networks have begun to announce various programs that will be canceled as they gear up for the new season, according to published reports. Several of these series feature theater veterans.

One of the more notable cancellations is ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, created by playwright Jon Robin Baitz, and starring Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, Ron Rifkin, Rachel Griffiths, Matthew Rhys, Dave Annable, Luke MacFarlane, and Patricia Wettig.

Cancellations also include ABC’s Detroit 1-8-7, starring Michael Imperioli; NBC’s Law & Order: LA, with Alfred Molina, Terrence Howard, and Corey Stoll; and ABC’s No Ordinary Family, featuring Stephen Collins.
