The Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' new stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel A Time to Kill has announced that it will play its last performance on November 17. The play opened at the John Golden Theatre on October 20 after beginning previews on September 28.
A Time to Kill is a courtroom drama that follows an idealistic young attorney defending a black man on murder charges. Both what is right and what is moral are called into question. Ethan McSweeny directs the production, which stars Sebastian Arcelus, Chiké Johnson, Patrick Page, Tonya Pinkins, Tom Skerritt, Fred Dalton Thompson, John Douglas Thompson, and Ashley Williams.
A Time to Kill features scenic design by James Noone, costume design by David C. Woolard, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, original music, and sound design by Lindsay Jones, and projection design by Jeff Sugg.
