Friends and colleagues posted messages of condolence and grief upon the death of a Broadway great.
Earlier today, it was announced that stage legend Elaine Stritch died at the age of 89 after nearly seven decades of work in the theater. Several members of the Broadway community took to Twitter to pay their respects to the iconic performer and respond to the sad news.
