BRAT Productions will close its 2011/2012 by showcasing the work of resident artists Jess Conda and Erik Ransom, who challenge misconceptions about what theater is and can be.

From June 14-16 at Underground Arts, Conda’s Get Behind Me Satan, a revival tent rock show performance of this White Stripes’ album in its entirety, will conclude her four-part Rock and Awe guerilla cabaret series.

Then, on June 20, 22, and 23, the company will present Ransom’s SAGA: The Rock Opera at L’Etage, a production that channels the synth-pop sound of the 80s, as well as Nordic mythology and Wagnerian opera.
