Brad Buecker will direct the musical film Time After Time, featuring a script by Pulitzer Prize winner Brian Yorkey, according to Deadline.com
The film is about a contemporary teenage girl who finds herself trapped in the 1980s with her mother as her best friend.
Yorkey co-wrote the Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal, for which he and co-author Tom Kitt received the Pulitzer. He recently collaborated with Sting on the musical, The Last Ship.
Buecker has been a producer and director off such TV series as Glee and American Horror Story.
