Blank Theatre Company’s Temperamentals Extends Through June 5

Blank Theatre Company has extended its production of Jon Marans’ The Temperamentals, through June 5 at 2nd Stage Theatre in Hollywood. Michael Matthews has directed the production.

The play takes its title from the 1950s code word for homosexual, and tells the story of communist Harry Hay and young Viennese refugee and designer Rudi Gernreich, founders of the pre-Stonewall gay rights organization, The Mattachine Society.

The company features Erich Bergen, Dennis Christopher, Patrick Scott Lewis, Mark Shunock, and John Tartaglia.

The creative team includes Kurt Boetcher (scenic design), Cameron Zetty (lighting design), Lauren Tyler (costume design), and Warren Davis (sound design).
