Actress Becki Newton and her husband, actor Chris Diamantopoulos, are expecting a baby later this year, according to Deadline.com.

Newton’s pregnancy will delay the premiere of her new NBC comedy Love Bites until sometime mid-season. The show is described as an hour-long anthology series featuring three loosely connected, modern stories of love, sex, marriage and dating. Newton will play Annie, a single girl and virgin. Greg Grunberg and Constance Zimmer will also be series regulars.

Newton and Diamantopolous co-starred in the City Center Encores! production of Girl Crazy. She is best known for her role as Amanda Taven on ABC’s Ugly Betty and appeared at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency with her former Ugly Betty co-star Michael Urie.
