Barbara Walsh to Star in Terrence McNally’s Master Class at Alpine Theatre Project

Barbara Walsh is set to star in a production of Terrence McNally’s Master Class at Alpine Theatre Project, June 15-24. David Ackroyd will direct.

Originally developed at “The Gathering” playwriting conference in nearby Bigfork, MT in the early 1990’s, Master Class takes the audience to one of opera diva Maria Callas’ famous master classes. ATP’s production will mark the first professional production of the play in the area.

The production will also feature opera singers Esther Heideman, Ryan MacPherson, and Katrina Thurman.

Barbara Walsh was nominated for a Tony for her starring role in Falsettos. Other Broadway credits include Blood Brothers, Nine, Hairspray, and Company.
