August: Osage County and Its Stars Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch, and More Nominated for SAG Awards

The full list of Screen Actors Guild Award nominees has been released.

The 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have released this year’s list of nominees, with the film adaptation of Tony Award winner Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer- and Tony-winning play, August: Osage County, in serious contention for many of the honors. The awards, which are presented annually by the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, will be presented January 18.

August‘s nominations include honors for best ensemble, Meryl Streep as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, and Julia Roberts as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

Several Broadway veterans were also honored with nominations, including Tom Hanks (Broadway’s Lucky Guy) for Captain Phillips, Judi Dench (Broadway’s Amy’s View) for Philomena, and Alec Baldwin (Broadway’s Orphans) for 30 Rock.
