Anthony Gargiula to Make Broadway Debut in & Juliet

Anthony Gargiula will make his Broadway debut in the long-running production of & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Beginning September 15, Gargiula will take over the role of François, the moody young musician who hastily proposes to Juliet rather than confront his true romantic feelings.

Nathan Levy, who is currently in the role, will play his final performance with the company on Sunday, September 6. Chrissy Metz (“This Is Us”) will play her final performances as Angélique on September 13.

Gargiula is a social media sensation best known for his Kitchen Singing series.

& Juliet imagines what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo through a playlist of pop anthems by Max Martin, with a book by Emmy-winning writer David West Read. The production is directed by Luke Sheppard and choreographed by Jennifer Weber.
