Anne Bogart will offer insights into her creative process and works that are part of SITI Company’s first New York season with SITI Mondays @ DTW, a series of presentations and talks at Dance Theatre Workshop.

On January 25, Bogart and SITI will present excerpts from American Document, a new collaboration with the Martha Graham Dance Company. The piece, created by Bogart, the company, and playwright Charles L. Mee, Jr., is based on a 1938 work devised by Graham, and incorporates filmed excerpts, written descriptions and Graham’s handwritten notes.

On February 15, Bogart and Mee will discuss their collaboration which has included not only American Document, but also bobrauschenbergamerica, Orestes, Hotel Cassiopeia, and Under Construction.

The final presentation in the series will be held on March 8 and will examine the why, what, and how of SITI’s devised creations such as The Medium, Small Lives/Big Dreams, Going, Going, Gone, Cabin Pressure, and Who Do You Think You Are.
