MCC Theater has announced additional performers for Miscast26, the one-night-only musical event featuring Broadway stars performing songs from roles in which they would not traditionally be cast.
Miscast26, honoring Tony Award winning producers Roy Furman and Jill Furman and MCC Youth Company alum and artist Jose Useche, will take place on April 27 at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Joining the Miscast26 lineup are LJ Benet, Ali Louis Bourzgui, Alex Brightman, Sara Chase, Marla Mindelle, Christiani Pitts, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Emma Sofia, Sam Tutty, and Jessica Vosk.
They join the previously announced Nicholas Christopher, Darren Criss, Jane Krakowski, Caissie Levy, Lea Michele, Ruthie Ann Miles, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Tramell Tillman. Will Van Dyke will serve as musical director.
MCC Theater also announced a digital lottery on TodayTix for $26 tickets. The lottery is now open for entries and will close at noon the day prior to the performance. Winners will have a chance to buy up to two tickets and will have an hour to claim the tickets through the TodayTix app.
More details have been announced for the free worldwide, stream. The premiere will be on Tuesday, May 12, at 7pm ET and the broadcast will be available on demand through Tuesday, May 19.
