Stage veteran and Emmy Award winner Valerie Mahaffey will guest star on FOX’s Glee as the mother of Jayma Mays’ character, Emma Pillsbury, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The publication has also reported that former Happy Days star Don Most will play Emma’s father, and Tamlyn Tomita and Keong Sim will also appear this season as the parents of Mike Chang (played by Harry Shumm Jr.)
Mahaffey’s many stage credits include Rex, Dracula, Play Memory, The Loves of Anatol, Twelve Dreams, Translations, Top Girls, and Talking Heads.
She won the Emmy for her work on Northern Exposure, and she received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for The Doctors. Her other television credits include United States of Tara, Desperate Housewives and Raising Hope.
