Chorus Line Documentary Every Little Step To Debut at New Directors/New Films

Every Little Step, a documentary by James D. Stern and Adam Del Deo which explores the journey of the musical A Chorus Line, will debut as part of the annual New Directors/New Films series, presented by the Film Series of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art, March 25-April 5, according to The New York Times. The film will be released commercially by Sony Classics on April 17.

The film compares and contrasts the original musical, which debuted at the Public Theater in 1975, with the current revival, now touring the country. It also investigates the societies in which they debuted, and why the themes are so timeless and universal, and goes behind the scenes with exclusive interviews from cast and creators, as well as footage of the revival’s audition process.
