Ernie Hudson Joins NBC’s Heroes

Ernie Hudson will join the NBC series Heroes during the fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will play the recurring character of a Baltimore detective named Captain Lubbock.

Hudson made his Broadway debut this past season in Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, with regional theater credits including The Great White Hope, The Emperor Jones, Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, and King Hedley II. He is best known for film work, particularly Ghostbusters 1 and 2, as well as TV series such as Oz, Desperate Housewives, and St. Elsewhere.
