Stage star and recording artist Micky Dolenz will release his new CD King for A Day on Tuesday, August 24.
The CD is a tribute to the songs of Carole King, and includes duets with Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers and teen actress Emily Osment.
Dolenz’s stage credits include Aida, Hairspray, and Pippin. He is best known for being a founding member of The Monkees, which recorded King’s songs “Pleasant Valley Sunday” and “Sometime in the Morning”.
