Kenney M. Green, Andy Mac, Carissa Massaro, Tara Novie, Erin O’Neil, and Michal Salonia will perform in the one-night-onlyBroadway for Broke People, to be offered on April 2 at 9:30pm at The Duplex Cabaret. Steve H. Taylor will serve as musical director for the performance, which will raise funds for Theatrical Gems.
The evening will consist of songs from famous and infamous big budget musicals, which will be stripped of the spectacle of a Broadway production. The songlist will be drawn from such shows as The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Tarzan, Starlight Express, Taboo, Lestat, Titanic, and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, among others.
The performance will also feature the Broke People Chorus, a group of young performers making their
cabaret debuts, including Benjamin Chambers, Caitlin Ferchaw, Seth Price, Ashley Primavera, and Megan Taylor.
