Tiffany Haas will assume the role of Glinda in the second North American tour of Wicked on September 27, during the show’s engagement at the Benedum Center.

Haas has appeared in the show on Broadway and was seen in the national tour of The Drowsy Chaperone. Most recently, she has served as the understudy for the role in the second North American tour. In addition, Haas is also a former “Miss Ohio” and competed in the Miss America Pageant.

She joins a company that also features Anne Brummel (Elphaba), Jody Gelb (Madame Morrible), Don Amendolia (The Wizard), Emily Ferranti (Nessarose), Martin Moran (Dr. Dillamond), Dan Pacheco (Boq), David Nathan Perlow (Fiyero) and Christine Dwyer (Standby for Elphaba).

Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel of the same name, Wicked tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, and how they grew to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. The musical features a score by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
