The Metropolitan Opera will present encore presentations of six “Live in HD” performances of its recent productions in hundreds of movie theaters across the United States this summer. All screenings will begin at 6:30pm local time.

The series begins with Donizetti’s Anna Bolena, with soprano Anna Netrebko as the doomed Anne Boleyn (June 13), to be followed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher’s production of Rossini’s playful comedy Le Comte Ory with Juan Diego Flórez and Diana Damrau (June 20), and Michael Grandage’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, starring baritone Mariusz Kwiecien (June 27).

The series continues with Sher’s production of Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann starring Joesph Calleja (July 11); Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, starring Netrebko and Kwiecen (July 18); and Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier, starring Renée Fleming.
