Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda’s improv hip hop group Freestyle Love Supreme has joined the list of special guests.
The complete list of guest speakers to appear at the third annual TEDxBroadway conference has been officially confirmed. The event is set to take place on Monday, February 24, at New World Stages.
The roster includes the previously announced Mark Fisher and Michael Keeler (founders of Mark Fisher Fitness), Robert Lopez (Tony Award-winning composer of The Book of Mormon and Avenue Q), Jonathan Mann (songwriter), Gabe Zichermann (gamification expert), David Drake (founder and chairman of LDJ Capital), Diane Paulus (Tony-winning director of Pippin), Lea DeLaria (star of Orange Is the New Black).
Joining them will be Dan Gurney (CEO and founder of Concert Window), Yao Huang (managing partner at Pereg Ventures and founder of The Hatchery), Craig Dykers (founding partner of Snøhetta), Freestyle Love Supreme (hip-hop improv group cofounded by Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda), Ainissa G. Ramirez Ph.D (coauthor of Newton's Football), Todd Robbins (performer and creative artist), Dexter Upshaw (founder and CEO of Distinction Interactive), Natasha Tsakos (conceptual director, creator, and performer), and David Torpey (cofounder and creative director of Image Now Consultants and Image Now Films). Sree Sreenivasan (chief digital officer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art), who was previously announced as a guest speaker, will not attend the event.
