Stars Beginning to Emerge From the Roster of FringeNYC Artists
David Don Miller's Why You Beasting? is the first of the Fringe offerings to sell out its run.
On Wednesday, Why You Beasting?, a dark comedy written by David Don Miller, became the first festival production to sell out its entire run. Several other productions have already sold out multiple performances, including Rubble, Big Dummy, Cowboys Don't Sing, Off the Desk, Bellini and the Sultan, and Snakes I Have Known. Also among the best-sellers are The Rufus Equation, Gertrude Stein Saints!, Luke Nicholas, The TomKat Project, Someone to Belong To, Peninsula, Horse Play, What Every Girl Should Know, Perfectly Normel People, and Playing God.
As New York City's fifth-largest annual public event, this year's Fringe Festival will feature programming from 185 theater troupes and dance companies from all over the world, presented in 20 different venues located in downtown Manhattan.
