Shaina Taub Releases Lyric Video to "If I Die Before You"

The song is featured on Taub’s brand-new album, ”Die Happy”, available today.

Singer-songwriter Shaina Taub has released her second full-length studio solo album, Die Happy, having its exclusive digital debut today on Bandcamp here. The album will be released widely on all digital platforms later this year.

Taub, whose debut album Visitors was released in 2015, is set to celebrate Die Happy with a special one-night-only concert and release party on Tuesday, May 15, 7pm at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater. "This album contains the most personal and most political songs I've ever recorded. I wrote them over a time of great change in the country and my own life," Taub said of the album. "Die Happy is both a reckoning with adulthood and a celebration of love in the face of fear."

The tracks feature her longtime core band — Brun, Hiroyuki Matsuura, and David Farrell Melton — as well as an ensemble of horn, wind, and string players and a large choir composed of friends and collaborators.
