International Arts Relations (INTAR Theatre) has announced its 2026-27 season, which will include two world premieres, starting with Blanca and Inés (January 30, 2027-February 28, 2027) by Cusi Cram and directed by Laurie Woolery, presented with community partners LAByrinth Theater Company and the Sol Project.

In this world premiere play, two young Latinas—Blanca, a razor-sharp bartender and struggling painter, and Inés, a Cuban seamstress with an open heart—lock eyes at a Greenwich Village party in 1954, and the world tilts.

In spring 2027, INTAR will present the world premiere of I Hope This Letter Reached Mictlān, which follows a young woman who risks everything to transcend to the Aztec underworld of Mictlān to see her dead twin brother again, by Amalia Oliva Rojas.

November 20-22, INTAR will present its annual UNIT52 Workshop Production: The Palacios Sisters, an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters taking place in Florida in the 1980s, co-conceived by Adrián Alea and Cristina García, written and adapted by García, and directed by Alea. The presentation will feature an ensemble of alumni from INTAR’s UNIT52, a non-equity training program founded as a response to the shortage of Latine actors in the Actors Equity Association (AEA).

All performances will take place at INTAR Theatre. Casting, creative teams, and more information will be announced at a later date.
