The on-going renovations to The Public Theater will include the addition of a mezzanine lobby lounge called The Library at The Public Theater.

Named in honor of the building’s original use as the historic Astor Library, the lounge will serve food, drinks, and discussion nightly until 2am. Chef Andrew Carmellini and restaurateur Luke Ostrom have joined Joe’s Pub Partners to operate the dining options and concession services throughout the building.

Designed by The Rockwell Group, The Library will be a 2,000-square-foot space on the mezzanine which will include a textured area rug, distressed leather chairs, and steel-frame bookcases.
