The Tony and Olivier Award-winning Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical, has announced full casting for the North American leg of its world tour, launching at the Providence Performance Arts Center in RI on September 20. The cast for the North American tour features Mariah Copeland as Johnny Bevan & Others, Katie Kleiger as Ewen Montagu & Others, Luke Antony Neville as Hester Leggatt & Others, Erin Ramirez as Jean Leslie & Others, and Jake Bentley Young as Charles Cholmondeley & Others. Rounding out the cast are Cassie Austin, Operation Mincemeat’s 50th cast member in its global company, alongside Noah Berry, Genevieve Ellis, and Loren Stone.
Written by triple Tony Award nominees SpitLip (comprised of David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson, and Zoë Roberts), Operation Mincemeat is a farce, thriller, and spy caper that takes place in 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve in this true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.
Operation Mincemeat began performances on Broadway in February, 2025, and continues to play at the Golden Theatre.
Robert Hastie will reprise his work as director for the tour, while Jenny Arnold continues as choreographer. The creative team will include set and costume designer Ben Stones, lighting designer Mark Henderson, sound designer Mike Walker, orchestrator Steve Sidwell, and music supervisor Joe Bunker.
