The last show of this year's Encores! Off-Center season, Micki Grant and Vinnette Carroll's Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope, is currently running at New York City Center through July 28. The production, directed and choreographed by Savion Glover, celebrated its opening night on July 25.

The musical stars Rheaume Crenshaw, Dayna Dantzler, Aisha de Haas, James T. Lane, and Wayne Pretlow. The ensemble includes Alexandria Bradley, Marshall L. Davis Jr., C.K. Edwards, Jeffry Foote, Shonica Gooden, Nina Hudson, Marla McReynolds, and Amber Barbee Pickens.

A celebration of African-American culture and community, this radical work presents issues of race politics in America through a lively mix of song and dance with a score that includes gospel, jazz, soul, calypso, and rock. Annastasia Victory serves as musical director.
