Harry Connick, Jr. In Concert on Broadway Set for DVD/Blu-Ray/CD Release and PBS Broadcast in March

Columbia Records will release Harry Connick, Jr. In Concert on Broadway, recorded during Connick’s 2010 run at the Neil Simon Theatre, on DVD, Blu-Ray and CD on March 1. The show will also be broadcast as part of PBS’ “Great Performances” series on March 2.

Among the songs performed by Connick during the concert are “The Way You Look Tonight,” “How Insensitive,” “Take Her To The Mardi Gras,” and “Bourbon Street Parade.” The releases will also include a bonus track, “A Conversation With Harry.”

Connick received Tony nominations for his performance in The Pajama Game and for the score of Thou Shalt Not. He has appeared in such films as Bug, Memphis Belle, and Little Man Tate. He co-starred in the NBC series Will & Grace, the television version of South Pacific and won an Emmy Award for his special Harry Connick, Jr.: Only You in Concert.

Connick is also a top-selling, Grammy Award-winning recording artist; his most recent CD, Your Songs, was released in 2009. As previously reported, he will play a limited engagement of Harry Connick, Jr. & Orchestra at Boston’s Colonial Theatre, April 26-30.
