Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Fosse’s SA KA LA

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the U.S. premiere of Jon Fosse’s SA KA LA, directed and translated by Sarah Cameron Sunde, to run September 6-27 at The Green Room / The Theatres at 45 Bleecker.

The play takes place in a moment of crisis when a mother has fallen victim to a stroke, on her 60th birthday, and it takes her three grown children, Nora, Hilde, and Ola completely by surprise. Meanwhile, the rest of the family can’t be reached as they wait for her party to begin.

The cast will include Noel Joseph Allain, Jacqueline Antaramian, Mike Caban, Frank Harts, Marielle Heller, Kathryn Kates, Anna Gutto, Birgit Huppuchand, and Raymond McAnally.

The set design will be by Jo Winiarski, the costume design will be by Jennifer Caprio, the lighting design will be by Paul Hudson, and the sound design will be by David Margolin Lawson.
