Dominick Dunne to Provide Voice-Over for Being Audrey
Featuring music and lyrics by Ellen Weiss, book by James Hindman, and additional book and lyrics by Cheryl Stern, the production will be directed by Jack Cummings III, with musical direction, arrangements, and orchestrations by Lanny Meyers and musical staging and choreography by Scott Rink. It focuses on a New York woman whose world threatens to collapse and who takes refuge in a romantic adventure inspired by the films of Audrey Hepburn. Stern stars as Claire Stark, with the cast also including Brian Sutherland, Stephen Berger, Andrea Bianchi, Valerie Fagan, Michael Maricondi, Mark Ledbetter, and Blair Ross.
Dunne, who was a personal friend of Hepburn, has been a special correspondent for Vanity Fair since 1993, and is well known for his profiles of artists, politicians, and other international newsmakers. He serves as the guide for Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege and Justice, and produced several feature films, including The Boys in the Band, Panic in Needle Park, Play It as It Lays, and Ash Wednesday.
