Dave Bova, wig, hair, and makeup designer for many Broadway and off-Broadway shows, has died.
His work can currently be seen in Be More Chill on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include Indecent, Bandstand, and the recent Sunset Boulevard and M. Butterfly revivals.
He worked extensively off-Broadway in productions such as the musicals Here Lies Love and Little Miss Sunshine and plays like Robert O'Hara's Bootycandy, the New Group's 2016 revival of Buried Child, and Kirsten Childs's Bella: An American Tall Tale.
Additionally, his work can be seen across the country in national tours of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Cruel Intentions, Rock of Ages, and more.
